We thought you'd like to
know a little about this site and the history of Liza's other
sites and club affiliations.
We're very happy that Liza now has this official website to
share exciting news about her career (please see her opening
message on the home page).
Liza's first way to share news was via her official fan club,
which started in December 1964 and ran until 1997. "Limelight
on Liza" was the name of the club. In 1997 it was decided
the Internet was the best and easiest way to share news of
where Liza could be seen performing, etc. -- and "Limelight
on Liza" ended.
Liza's first official website was called LizaMay, which started
in 1998. It has been a few years since that has been active,
but now with this official address, Liza is looking forward
to sharing news and wonderful things with you right here.
There is only one other website or group that Liza is currently
officially endorsing in terms of news on her appearances, and
that is her German web page for her concert appearances there,
and other great information, at LizaMinnelli.de.
Liza is very grateful for all the caring that is out there
for her, and hopes you will greatly enjoy this official site
as a way of everyone coming together with love and support,
here at OfficialLizaMinnelli.com.
Please know that this site is desired to be inclusive,
and we are grateful for so many who are making this possible.
Watch this space for future thank-yous to those who are helping
with direction, design, and art work, as well as those who
have been so supportive of Liza's career and her fans over
the years.
