In connection with the UK release on DVD of LIZA WITH A "Z" -- due out October 2nd -- Liza is going to London "to carry out lots of promotion," with "the full list" on its way here soon, once all is confirmed.

The one thing that is confirmed is the UK screening of "Z" on the big screen.  It will be
held at The Vue Leicester Square, on Thursday 28th Sept. at 11pm to benefit the UK's largest HIV & AIDS organisation, Crusaid. See the following site to order tickets:

The restored LIZA WITH A "Z" will be making its NON-cable TV debut this AUGUST, on PBS! And Liza videotaped an interview at their Manhattan studios that will air during the presentation (at least it will air in the NYC area). The interview was done with the one-and-only RICK McKAY, the director and producer of the acclaimed "Broadway" series (for which Liza has taped an appearance for his sequel -- "Broadway : Beyond the Golden Age"). Liza taped her interview with Rick McKay last Monday, July 17th, 2006, at the PBS control room/studio, in Manhattan, from 6-7 PM (Liza taped her interview with Rick for his Broadway film on the night of Tuesday, November 8th, 2005, from 7-11 PM!)..... Check with your local PBS for the air-dates of the "LIZA WITH A 'Z" airings.

The multiple Emmy® Award-winning special, which was directed by the acclaimed Cabaret Oscar® winner Bob Fosse, and starred Minnelli, who also received an Oscar for Cabaret, was broadcast by NBC three times: on September 10, 1972, March 9, 1973 and again in September, 1973. Ms. Minnelli, has teamed with producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (executive producers of the Oscar®-winning Chicago, which ironically began as a Bob Fosse stage musical) to present the first-ever, fully restored and digitally remastered airing of the special for Showtime. The one-hour special is quintessential Minnelli as she effortlessly moves from one musical genre to the next, delivering scintillating versions of such classics as Yes, God Bless the Child, It Was A Good Time, I Gotcha, Ring Them Bells, Son Of A Preacher Man, Bye, Bye Blackbird, You’ve Let Yourself Go, My Mammy, the “Cabaret” medley, along with the incomparable, tongue twisting title song.
