Liza just arrived back in NY, and is fine. She will now be seeing her doctor to determine what caused her dizziness and to collapse yesterday. Liza did not collapse onstage, as has been incorrectly reported elsewhere, but off-stage. Again, Liza is fine, and appreciates the concern of her fans all over the world, and sends them her love. More will be posted here if needed, but please do know that Liza is fine.

STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE REGARDING LIZA MINNELLI

"Liza Minnelli was scheduled to perform the final show (Dec. 12th) in a series of four concerts in Sweden this past week when she became very ill shortly after the show began. Ms. Minnelli who has been on a triumphant and critically acclaimed tour around the world,  had complained of dizziness prior to the start of the show. As a result, she was unable to finish her performance and was rushed back to her hotel by her manager. A doctor upon examining her and in consultation with her NY physician, determined that it would be necessary for the Oscar winning actress and singer to immediately return to New York City to receive further medical evaluation."
